Synopsis:

It’s 3:07am and two girls burst into a run down toilet. Joanne is crying her eyes out and her clothing is ripped. Kelly's face is bruised and starting to swell. Duncan Allen lies in his bathroom bleeding to death. Duncan's son, Stuart, has found his father and wants answers. Derek, Kelly's pimp, needs to find Kelly or it will be him who pays. Kelly and Joanne need to get through the next 24 hours.

LONDON TO BRIGHTON is a gritty thriller that follows a prostitute and a young runaway on the run to Brighton in a desperate fight to save their own lives before it's too late. Amid murder, prostitution and revenge, all Kelly and Joanne have is hope and each other.

Synopsis:

Gail’s agoraphobia keeps her inside where she escapes into romance novels. She shares a house with her Nan, recently back from the hospital. Gradually, they both try to reach out to each other to break their isolation.
Rob plunges further into his addiction as a way of numbing his heartbreak over the death of his girlfriend. In his stupor, he dreams of embracing her again. Mr & Mrs Gladwin are going through a shift in their 60 year relationship. Years of resentment and unspoken truths have built a barrier between them that Mrs Gladwin, in her abiding love, tries to erode in little gestures.

A new voice in British cinema, Duane Hopkins’ multi-narrative feature debut is a lyrical and honest look at intersecting lives, losses and loves in the heart of rural England.
